Scarecrow: La morte vivante
01/05/05 || Lord K Philipson
Attention recordlabels! Take a look at www.globaldomination.se for a second, ok? What’s our main-focus here? Rock’n’roll? Nope. Gay-sex? No. (well, we have Farlus on staff so let’s strike that question). Sports? Nah. Metal, maybe? Yeah, that’s it. We dig metal. We cover metal. And we support metal. That’s what 99% of this site is about, got it? So, by sending me rock’nroll albums there’s a slight chance we’ll rip them a new asshole? Yes, there is. Oh yes, there is a slight chance of that happening…
Scarecrow manages to escape the full-on bashing though thanx to one reason and one reason only; They remind me of Genocide Superstars sometimes. That, and I’m severely tripping on acid right now. I’m definitely not the right guy to review this since I basically think this genre is as fun as trimming yer pubic hair with a lawnmover. I can’t even say if they do a good job within their range of muzak coz this kind of shit takes no-to-little talent to perform. It sounds decent, but it’s no Genocide Superstars to put it out nicely. Where Gencocide’s got catchy tunes, Scarecrow got, eh, tunes. Not more, not less. This band is another perfect example of a combo releasing an album without me understanding why.
Bottom-line is;
Who gives a fuck?
